Tyre Manufacturing & Recycling
Tyres are a large industrial market, and end-of-life tyres are a growing waste stream that governments want handled properly. Wavy Solutions develops projects on both sides of this cycle. We plan tyre manufacturing plants and build recycling facilities that turn used tyres into saleable materials.
Tyre manufacturing plants
A tyre plant brings together compounding and mixing, component preparation, building, curing, inspection and testing. Each stage needs well-matched machinery and reliable utilities such as steam, compressed air and cooling water. We help investors define the product range, the plant capacity and the process, and then select and source the machinery from European manufacturers and the used market. We manage the project through installation and commissioning, with the same project management approach we use for other new plants.
Tyre recycling facilities
Recycling plants process end-of-life tyres into materials with a market value. Typical routes include shredding, granulating and separating steel and textile to produce rubber granulate and powder for products such as sports surfaces, mats and moulded rubber goods. We design the process around the expected tyre volumes, the target products and the local market. We select robust shredding and separation equipment and plan the site for safe storage, material flow and dust control.
Phased investment and local conditions
Following our standing approach, we size the first phase so the plant starts producing and selling with the minimum investment. Further lines, higher output or extra product grades come in later phases, funded by the plant's revenue. In Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, we take local tyre collection systems, environmental regulations and industrial city requirements into account from the start. Our Dammam office coordinates with local partners, authorities and the site, while our Berlin team handles engineering and European sourcing.
What the client should prepare
For a manufacturing plant, the client should define the tyre types and sizes of interest, the target market and the expected capacity. For a recycling plant, we need an estimate of the tyre volumes available, how they will be collected and which end products the client wants to sell. In both cases, details of the site, utilities, licences and budget allow us to give a realistic plan. If these points are still open, we start with a feasibility study.
