Machinery & Equipment Sourcing

Buying industrial machinery from abroad means choosing the right supplier, agreeing the right specification and making sure what arrives is what was ordered. Wavy Solutions handles this on the buyer's side. We source from German and European manufacturers and from the used machinery market, and we follow each order through to delivery.

What we source

We source single machines, complete production lines and auxiliary equipment such as boilers, compressors, conveyors, packing systems and utility plants. One example is a high-pressure steam boiler we supplied to a plastics factory. We work with new equipment from European manufacturers and with used equipment where it offers better value for the client's budget. Because our team is engineering-led, we look at how each machine fits the client's process, utilities and capacity, and we avoid buying on price alone.

Specification and supplier selection

We start by writing a clear technical specification with the client: capacity, materials, power and utility data, automation level and local standards. We then request offers from suitable suppliers and compare them on technical content, delivery time, warranty, spare parts and after-sales support. The client receives a side-by-side comparison with our recommendation and the reasons for it. We also help negotiate commercial terms and check that the contract covers scope, documentation, training and performance guarantees in clear terms.

Factory acceptance and logistics

Before shipment, we attend factory acceptance tests (FAT) at the manufacturer's works to confirm that the equipment meets the agreed specification. Faults found at this stage are far cheaper to fix than faults found on site. We then coordinate packing, export documents, sea or road freight, insurance and customs clearance to the destination. For Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, our Dammam office follows the shipment on arrival and coordinates with the client's site team for delivery and installation.

What the client should prepare

The client should describe the product, the required output and the raw materials the machine will process. We need information on the site's power supply, available space and any machines the new equipment must connect to. A budget range and a target delivery date help us focus the search on realistic options. If the client already holds supplier offers, we can review them independently and point out gaps, hidden costs or technical risks before the order is placed.
