Feasibility Studies & Technical Evaluation

Every sound industrial investment begins with clear answers on market, technology and money. Wavy Solutions prepares feasibility studies and technical evaluations that give owners, investors and lenders a practical basis for their decision. Our studies come from engineers who build and relocate plants, so the numbers reflect real equipment, real installation work and real operating conditions.

Feasibility studies for new plants

A feasibility study for a new plant covers the market for the product, the choice of process and technology, plant capacity, machinery and building requirements, staffing, raw material supply and utility needs. The financial part sets out the investment, operating costs, revenue, cash flow and payback under realistic assumptions. We also show a phased option where the plant starts with the minimum equipment needed to produce and adds capacity later. This often changes the investment decision, because it lowers the capital needed before the plant earns.

Evaluation of existing plants

Buyers of an existing factory need to know what they are buying. We inspect the plant, its machinery, utilities and documentation, and we assess condition, remaining useful life, capacity and the investment needed to bring it to stable production. We identify bottlenecks, missing equipment and safety issues. The result is an independent technical view the buyer can use in negotiation. We apply the same approach to used production lines before they are purchased or relocated.

Expansion and financing studies

Operating factories that plan to add a line, raise capacity or enter a new product often need a study for the board or for a lender. We prepare expansion studies that show the technical scope, the investment, the effect on output and costs, and the expected return. For financing bodies, including industrial development funds in Saudi Arabia, we structure the study around the information lenders expect to review. Where a process needs specialist input, we can draw on German research institutions such as Fraunhofer.

What the client should prepare

For a new plant, the client should provide the product idea, the intended market, a target capacity and any site information. For an existing plant, we need access to the site, machinery lists, maintenance records, production data and financial statements where available. For a financing study, the client should share the lender's requirements and any templates early. The more accurate the information we receive, the more useful and reliable the study will be.
